A: No. The battery terminals can be left open; the power supply will still deliver the main output voltage. However, the UPS function only works when a battery is connected.
Q: How do I achieve automatic switchover to battery power during an AC failure?
A: Connect the load to the CH1 output terminals and the battery positive/negative to the BAT+/BAT- terminals. When AC fails, the internal circuit automatically switches the load to the battery (ensure the battery voltage range matches the CH1 rated voltage).
Q: What battery capacity is recommended?
