3. Do I need external capacitors on input/output? The specification sheet recommends using a 12" twisted pair terminated with a 0.1µF & 47µF parallel capacitor when measuring ripple and noise. 4. How does the power supply recover after overload protection? The SD-100 series adopts "hiccup mode" overload protection. Once the load returns to the normal range, the power supply automatically resumes normal operation without manual intervention. Over voltage protection uses the same mechanism – automatic recovery after fault removal.
5. Can multiple units be used in parallel? Direct parallel connection of multiple SD-100 units to increase output power is not recommended, as current sharing must be considered. For higher power requirements, Leyu offers other series with higher power ratings.
