It is a switch mode power supply with built-in battery charging management function, supporting dual output + battery charging channel, effectively providing three DC outputs with a total rated power of 152.75W.
The power supply accepts 88~264VAC universal AC input and features built‑in active PFC (Power Factor Correction), making it suitable for use under global power grids. Its core design concept is to provide an integrated power solution for equipment that requires a backup battery – during normal operation it powers the load and charges the battery; when utility power fails, it automatically switches to battery output, realizing a UPS function.
The main output (CH1) of the ADD-155B is 27.6V/4.5A (5A max), commonly used for floating charging of 24V lead‑acid batteries or directly driving DC equipment. The second output (CH2) provides 5V/3A, convenient for powering logic circuits such as control boards and sensors. The third output (CH3) is 27.1V/0.5A, specifically designed for battery topping charge or maintenance charge. The three outputs are isolated from each other and can operate simultaneously.
Universal AC input: Voltage range 88~264VAC, compatible with common mains like 120V and 230V, also supports 124~370VDC input.

Q: Can the ADD-155B directly charge a 24V lead‑acid battery?
A: Yes. CH1 voltage adjustment range is 24~29V, factory default 27.6V, exactly the floating charge voltage for 24V lead‑acid batteries. CH3 provides 27.1V/0.5A low current, suitable for maintenance charging. It is recommended to add an appropriate fuse or reverse‑protection diode in the battery circuit.
Q: How long can the output be maintained after AC power fails?
A: This depends on the capacity of the external battery. The power supply itself does not contain an internal battery – the user must connect a battery in parallel across the output. When the input voltage drops below the threshold, the internal circuit switches to battery power; the output voltage will then drop slightly (determined by the battery voltage).
Q: CH1 and CH3 voltages are very close – can they be paralleled to increase current?
A: Direct paralleling is not recommended. CH3 output current capability is only 0.5A, and the two outputs are not designed with current sharing. If higher current is needed, use only CH1 (5A max).
Q: Does derating apply when ambient temperature reaches 60℃?
A: Yes. The specification clearly states an operating range of -10~+60℃, but the actual available power must be reduced according to the derating curve as temperature rises. Above 50℃, typical derating is 2~3% output power per ℃. It is recommended to leave at least 20% margin when used above 40℃.
Q: Does this power supply have CE certification?
A: Safety standards refer to UL60950-1 and TUV EN60950-1; EMC complies with EN55022 Class B and EN61000 series requirements. As a component, the final equipment must re‑confirm overall EMC compliance.
Q: How to recover after battery low protection activates?
A: In AC charging mode, the supply is in hiccup protection state; after AC power is restored and the battery voltage rises back to normal, output automatically recovers. In UPS mode, if the internal fuse has blown, it must be replaced.
Q: Can it be used for LED displays or lighting?
A: Yes, it can be used for 27.6V LED modules or strips, but note that CH1 rated current is 4.5A (5A max), total power 152.75W. For lighting applications, it is recommended to leave a 20% margin to avoid prolonged full load.
All parameters not specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load, and 25℃ ambient temperature.
Ripple & noise measurements use a 12‑inch twisted pair terminated with 0.1µF & 47µF parallel capacitor, 20MHz bandwidth.
