The PS-45 series from Leyu Electric (Yueqing Leyu Electric Automation Co., Ltd.) is a 45W single‑output open frame switching power supply, 

available in four common models: 5V/8A, 12V/3.7A, 15V/3A, and 24V/1.9A. 

The series uses a bare‑board design with dimensions of 127×76.2×28mm                                                                                                                  

and weighs only 0.19kg, making it easy to integrate into end devices where space and cost are critical.

Q: What is the actual output power of the PS‑45‑12 – 44.4W or 45W?

A: The rated power is 45W. The 12V model has a rated current of 3.7A (44.4W)

     but works stably within its normal load range. We recommend keeping the continuous load at or below the rated value.

Q: Can the open frame power supply be touched directly on the circuit board?

A: No. The PS‑45 series is an open frame design with high‑voltage circuits on the board. 

    It must be installed inside the final equipment enclosure, with the end device providing protection against electric shock.

Q: Why is the input voltage range marked as 90‑264VAC but also compatible with 127‑370VDC? 

A: The internal rectifier circuit allows it to accept either AC or DC input. For DC input, the voltage must be from 127V up to 370V.

Q: Does the overload recovery require powering off?  

A: No. After an overload or short‑circuit fault is removed, the power supply automatically recovers output (hiccup mode) without needing to cycle power.

Q: How long is the warranty for the Leyu PS‑45 series? 

A: 2 years from the date of manufacture. Non‑artificial defects are covered by free repair or replacement.
