The DR-75 series adopts standard TS-35/7.5 or TS-15 DIN rail mounting. Its compact dimensions are only 55.5×125.2×100mm (W×H×D) and it weighs 0.6kg, making it easy to integrate into various compact control cabinets. It supports a full range of AC input from 85~264VAC (while also compatible with 120~370VDC DC input) without the need for manual voltage switching, adapting to most power grids worldwide.
The internal topology uses a fixed 50kHz switching frequency, balancing efficiency and electromagnetic compatibility. Under 230VAC full load, typical efficiency reaches 76%~81% (depending on the model), with low standby power consumption, saving energy during long-term operation. Every DR-75 unit undergoes 100% full-load burn-in testing before leaving the factory, ensuring reliable “plug-and-play, long-term worry-free” operation.

Flexible output voltage adjustment
Output voltage can be increased via the front‑panel potentiometer: 12V model up to 14V, 24V up to 28V, 48V up to 53V. Compensate for line drops or adapt to special loads without changing the power supply.

Q1: Can the DR-75 start up at -20°C?
A: The guaranteed operating temperature lower limit is -10°C. For lower temperature startup, pre‑heating or selecting Luyu’s wide‑temperature series is recommended. However, the unit can be stored at -20°C and will start normally after warming up to above -10°C.
Q2: How does overload recovery work?
A: When the load exceeds 105%~150% of rated power, the supply enters constant current limiting mode (output voltage drops, current is held constant). Once the load returns to normal range, the output voltage automatically recovers without power cycling. However, if overvoltage protection has triggered a shutdown, you must disconnect input power, wait 5 seconds, and then reapply power.
Q3: Can I directly parallel the +V and –V terminals of two units to increase output power?
A: Direct paralleling is not recommended. The DR-75 does not have active current sharing, so paralleling may cause uneven load distribution. For redundancy or higher power, please use Luyu models with active current sharing or external diode redundancy modules.
Q4: What spacing should be kept during installation?
A: Due to natural convection cooling, it is recommended to leave ≥20mm clearance on left/right sides and ≥30mm at top/bottom to avoid heat accumulation. When mounting multiple units side by side, keep ≥15mm between them.
Q5: Will excessive output capacitance cause startup failure?
A: Capacitive load capability: 12V model ≥2000μF, 24V ≥1000μF, 48V ≥500μF. If external capacitance exceeds these values, overcurrent protection may trigger during startup. Consider soft‑start or staged power‑up.
Q6: How to select an external input fuse?
A: Use a slow‑blow type fuse. For 230VAC, choose 2A/250V; for 115VAC, choose 3A/250V. Typical cold‑start inrush current is 20A at 115VAC / 40A at 230VAC – a slow‑blow fuse avoids nuisance blowing.
Q7: What is the warranty and after‑sales support?
A: Luyu provides a 2‑year full warranty for the DR-75 series. Any manufacturing defect will be repaired or replaced free of charge. For specific procedures, please contact your local distributor or the Luyu technical support hotline.
