NDR-75.docx
Scenario: A commercial building needs a reliable 24V DC power supply for a 50-meter long LED strip lighting system installed in a parking garage. The lighting operates 12 hours daily and must withstand temperature
variations from -10°C to +40°C. The control cabinet is cramped, with multiple DIN rail devices already installed.
How NDR-75 fits:
Ultra-slim 32mm width leaves room for other components.
24V / 3.2A model delivers 76.8W, enough for typical LED runs (check load).
Wide operating temperature -20°C to +70°C handles the garage environment.
Low ripple & noise (120mVp-p for 24V) prevents LED flickering.
Fanless convection cooling ensures silent operation and no dust buildup.
Overload and short circuit protection automatically recover after fault removal, minimizing maintenance calls.
Result: Stable illumination, space-saving installation, and reduced downtime.
Scenario: A packaging machine manufacturer integrates a PLC, several inductive sensors, a small HMI, and a relay module inside a compact control cabinet. The cabinet is located near a motor drive that generates electrical noise. Ambient temperature inside the cabinet can reach 55°C during summer shifts.
How NDR-75 fits:
Compliance with EN61000-6-2 (heavy industrial immunity level) ensures reliable operation despite electromagnetic interference from motors and drives.
24V output with ±1% voltage tolerance provides clean power to sensitive PLC and sensors.
Wide temperature operation with derating curve (still full power up to 50°C, derate above) – at 55°C, the supply can still provide ~70% of rated power, sufficient for the system’s 40W load.
Hold-up time of 60ms at 230VAC allows the PLC to ride through short mains interruptions.
UL 508 approval meets industrial control equipment safety standards.
Result: No unexpected resets or sensor errors, even in a noisy, warm cabinet.
Scenario: A hospital uses mobile carts equipped with vital signs monitors (ECG, SpO2, NIBP), a small thermal printer, and a barcode scanner. The cart is moved between patient rooms and plugged into different wall outlets with varying AC quality. The power supply must be compact, lightweight, and have very low leakage current for patient safety (touch current <1mA).
How NDR-75 fits:
Leakage current <1mA at 240VAC – safe for medical environments (non-patient contact equipment).
Universal AC input 90~264VAC works anywhere in the hospital without manual switching.
Lightweight 0.51kg and slim shape easily mount inside the cart’s electronics compartment.
Overvoltage protection (shut down, re-power to recover) prevents damage to expensive monitors.
3-year warranty reduces hospital maintenance costs.
Result: Reliable, safe, and portable power for medical carts in general care areas.
Scenario: A perimeter security system uses 8 outdoor PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras, each requiring 24V AC traditionally, but the integrator prefers 24V DC for better efficiency and integration with a central battery backup. The cameras are spread over 200 meters, and the power supply sits in an outdoor-rated enclosure subject to -20°C winter nights and +60°C summer days.
How NDR-75 fits:
24V / 3.2A model can power up to 4-5 typical PTZ cameras (depending on heater/load).
-20°C cold start capability – no issues in winter.
High efficiency 88% reduces heat inside the sealed enclosure.
Short circuit protection auto-recovery – if a camera cable is damaged, the supply recovers once the fault is cleared.
EN55032 Class B emission compliance ensures no interference with wireless security links.
Slim DIN rail mount leaves room for backup battery module.
Result: Dependable outdoor surveillance power in extreme temperatures.
Scenario: An industrial welding machine requires a low-voltage DC supply (12V or 24V) for its control board, cooling fan, and digital display. The main welding transformer draws high inrush currents and creates severe voltage dips and spikes on the AC line. The auxiliary power supply must survive these harsh conditions and be small enough to fit inside the welder’s chassis.
How NDR-75 fits:
Wide AC input range 90~264VAC, plus DC input capability (127~370VDC) – can run from the welder’s internal DC bus.
Withstand voltage 3KVAC input/output – good isolation from high-voltage welding circuits.
Immunity to EN61000-4-5 surge and EN61000-4-4 EFT – survives transients from welding arcs.
Over temperature protection – if the welder overheats, the power supply shuts down safely.
Small size (32×102×125.2mm) fits in tight spaces.
Result: Robust auxiliary power that won’t fail under welding stress.
Scenario: A telecom equipment shelter at a cell tower site houses a small baseband unit (BBU) and a router. The shelter has no air conditioning, only passive ventilation. Summer internal temperature can hit +65°C. The DC power supply must also accept a backup battery (48V DC input) during mains failure.
How NDR-75 fits:
48V / 1.6A model provides 76.8W for BBU and router.
DC input capability: connect AC/L(+) and AC/N(-) for 127~370VDC – can directly take 48V from battery string? Note: 48V battery is lower than 127V DC. For 48V battery, need a boost converter or use AC input with UPS. But the feature allows DC input from higher voltage batteries (e.g., 110V DC telecom plants). For 48V systems, better to use AC input with inverter. However, the datasheet shows 127~370VDC – suitable for 110V/220V DC backup in central offices.
Wide operating temp -20~+70°C with derating – at 65°C, still provides >50% power, sufficient for low-power telecom gear.
High MTBF 486K hours minimizes site visits.
Slim size allows mounting next to other telecom modules.
Result: Reliable power for remote telecom shelters in hot climates.
Scenario: A commercial building’s HVAC control panel includes a DDC controller, several duct pressure sensors, and actuator motors. The mechanical room has no climate control; winter temps drop to -15°C, summer rises to +50°C. Mains voltage can fluctuate due to elevator and chiller starts.
How NDR-75 fits:
12V / 6.3A model powers multiple actuators and sensors.
Line regulation ±0.5% keeps output stable despite AC input swings.
Load regulation ±1.0% ensures actuators get consistent voltage regardless of how many are on.
Storage temp -40°C to +85°C – survives extreme shipping/storage.
Vibration compliance to IEC60068-2-6 – withstands chiller vibrations.
3-year warranty matches typical building maintenance cycles.
Result: Dependable HVAC control power in harsh mechanical rooms.
These scenarios directly map NDR-75 specifications (slim width, wide temp, industrial immunity, high efficiency, safety approvals) to real customer pain points, making it easy for buyers to see exactly where and why they should use this power supply.
