Q1: Which DIN rails is the NDR-120-12 compatible with?
A: The product is suitable for TS-35/7.5 and TS-35/15 standard DIN rails. To install, align the snap clip on the back of the power supply with the rail and press firmly to secure. To remove, use a screwdriver to pry the bottom clip downward. No additional tools are required.
Q2: Will the power supply be damaged if the input voltage is connected incorrectly?
A: The NDR-120 series features a full-range input design and operates normally within 90VAC–264VAC. Do not exceed this range. For DC input, connect the AC/L terminal and AC/N terminal to the positive and negative poles of the DC supply, respectively. If the input voltage is too high or too low beyond specifications, the power supply may fail to operate or be damaged.
Q3: How is the power supply restored after overload protection?
A: This product uses constant current limiting protection mode. When the load current exceeds the rated range (105%–130% of rated output power), the output current is limited to a set value and the output voltage drops. Once the load fault is removed, the power supply automatically resumes normal operation without needing to power cycle.
Q4: What is the ripple and noise of the NDR-120-12? Will it affect power supply to precision equipment like PLCs?
A: The typical full load output ripple and noise value is 100mVp-p (measured). This complies with industrial control equipment power supply standards and does not affect PLCs, sensors, servo drives, or other industrial control equipment. It can be used with confidence.
Q5: Does this series support parallel connection for power expansion?
A: The NDR-120 series is designed for independent operation. Parallel connection of multiple units is not recommended. For higher output power, please select a higher power model. For redundant backup power, please use a dedicated redundancy module.
Q6: Is the 12V output adjustable? What is the adjustment range?
A: The output voltage can be adjusted from 12V to 14V via the built-in potentiometer. Users can fine-tune the output voltage according to the actual needs of the load to suit different downstream equipment power requirements.
Q7: Does the power supply need derating in high-temperature environments?
A: It is recommended to operate at full load at ambient temperatures from -20°C to +50°C. When the ambient temperature exceeds 50°C but does not exceed 70°C, it is advisable to appropriately reduce the load power according to actual application requirements. Refer to the product datasheet or contact technical support for the specific derating curve. Ensure adequate ventilation space around the power supply (at least 5 cm on each side) to guarantee free-air convection cooling.
Q8: How long is the product warranty?
A: Leyu Electric provides a 2-year warranty for the NDR series DIN rail power supplies from the date of manufacture. If quality issues arise under normal use, please contact the seller or Leyu Electric after-sales service department.

A: The NDR-120 series complies with EN61000-3-2 EU harmonic current standards and EN61000-6-2 industrial immunity level requirements.
